_________SPMBT version 1 Main Help*
*
*
The game documentation, where you will find the full details, lives in the file "spmbtguide.htm" in the \Game Notes folder.
*
*
The game Guide is the MANUAL for this game - please take the time to read it!.*
*
*
Note that the Guide is in HTML format - use your web browser to read it.*
*
In there you will find all you need to know about installation, game set up and procedures. SPMBT is a complex game, and therefore a substantial manual is provided as 'required reading'.*
*
Also in this folder you may find late additional read me text files.*
*
*
*
The buttons to the right will take you to the in-game help screens*
*
These screens are only meant to be quick reference reminders*
For the full details - please refer to the Game Guide*

_______Hints and Tips*
*
*
_____Having crashes, sound or video problems?*
*
Please read the Installation section of the game guide.*
*
Also - we will quote this section from the Guide:*
**
IMPORTANT NOTE*
*
This game is an MSDOS full screen application, and it will tend not to be happy with windows background tasks, or alt tabbing out to run other windows programs. (See the Installation of the Game Guide). Some people can do this without problems and others cannot.*
*
This game is meant to be run on a 'clean' Windows session only, as the first and only program run after a fresh reboot of Windows but we have found during testing that this is not always necesary unless you have been running a lot of programs before starting the game.*
*
Some PC set-ups will be able to run this game as a regular windows session, but should you have problems - stick to the above advice. *
*
All PC boxes differ - yours just may be a sensitive set up.*
*
Unless you are running this game from a pure DOS environment (e.g. with a boot disk) then always start the game with a windows shortcut (Item 1 of the Installer section of the game guide). Do not simply double click on the .exe file in Windows Explorer.*
*
*
_____I think this is too effective/not effective enough (etc)*
*
Everyone has their own idea of what 'reality' is - this is why the game provides the PREFERENCES menu, where you can alter various game paramaters to suit your tastes. Please refer to the appropriate section of the Game Guide, and also check out the section on the INI file settings.*
*
The game preferences settings are reached from the PREFERENCES button on the main game screen, and this is also made available at other points as well.*
*
